Rockwood Apartments is the first residential community in Anaheim created to address the special needs of the city’s unhoused families with students in the Anaheim Unified School District. Rockwood’s mixed population also includes low-income families and those living with mental illness. The design incorporates Craftsman-style architecture and soothing interior design appointments. Anaheim historical imagery is reflected in custom art glass in the building’s entry and in custom-designed light columns which serve as path lighting and public art. Amenities include a community room with teaching kitchen, basketball court, parcourse, private balconies, and an outdoor plaza with recreation areas for all ages. This award-winning development is a true collaboration between the developers and the City of Anaheim with input from the County of Orange, the Anaheim School District, and the community.
